Update: During Blu’s emergency c-section on December 9, 2020, we chose to have Blu spayed. This was to be her last litter so this was an easy decision to make.
Blu – May 2018
is our whimsical girl. She always is happy-go-lucky and loves to go anywhere with Mark. Blu earned her UKC Championship with one weekend of showing.
Blu’s first litter was sired by our Quincy. Her second litter was sired by Tripp of Blue Heaven Labradors. Blu will have her 3rd and last litter this fall/winter. Blu has been bred to Quincy for a litter due about December 10.
All of Blu’s puppies have gentle dispositions, are very trainable, and beautiful! Here are pictures of puppies from Blu’s previous litters:
Gretchen is a lovely puppy born to Blu and Tripp. She wants to be near Mark and me wherever we are and whatever we are doing.
She is a beauty! We look forward to showing her in 2021.

3-24-2021: After Rose has weaned her puppies, she is available to a qualified home. Rose is an inquisitive, active gal. She is a good sized lab weighing about 75 pounds. She loves to play with our other dogs. She will need some refresher obedience training. She will be rehomed on a spay contract. Please contact us if you are interested in Rose.
Update: On March 9 Rose gave birth to 4 puppies, 2 males and 2 females. She has had a hard time adjusting to being a mother so we will not be breeding Rose again.
Rose at just over 3 months old
Dusty Road Labradors welcomed Santy’s Moonlight and Roses aka Rose on February 22, 2018. When she left Santy’s Labradors in Greer, SC, it was 55 degrees. When she arrived in Omaha, we were expecting a blizzard that weekend. Rose didn’t get to go outside for 2 weeks.
Rose is in conformation training. She was entered in a local UKC show in the Novice Puppy class. Rose was BEST PUPPY in all four shows!!! We were so proud of Rose and had fun showing her!!
Rose earned her first puppy point at the Waverly, IA, show.
We love her color and build. We look forward to a litter of puppies from her in 2021.

3-24-2021: Shelby has been rehomed to Dave and LeeAnn. They love Shelby’s gentle ways and quiet demeanor.
Update: Shelby will not be having any more litters. We had hoped for at least one more litter but due to circumstances beyond our control, Shelby will not be bred again.

5 months old
Shelby is a daughter of Emma and Keeper. She was born on 5-7-17. She is the most gentle puppy we have ever seen. I think she surpasses Pippa in gentleness. Shelby’s color is yellow but she has a hint of red which we love. This goes back to Grandpa Conrad.
10/19/17: Shelby is in week 4 of PET I at Companion Dog Club. She completed PUPPY KINDERGARTEN and made good friends with 3 other puppies. Shelby will be in her first UKC show this weekend, October 21-22. Her second show will be at the Council Bluffs Kennel Club over the Thanksgiving weekend. The UKC show is a puppy class but the AKC show is 6-9 month competition.
12/8/17: Shelby has completed PET 1 and is now in PET 2. She was overwhelmed at the Council Bluffs Kennel Club show and really acted like the puppy she is. It was good experience for her.
3/25/18: Shelby was such a good girl while we were raising the puppies this early spring. Now it is her turn to get back to training. Our plan is to focus on Shelby and Quincy.
1/26/20: Shelby has been bred to Ole (Dusty Road’s Oluff Berzerker Concera) who is also a puppy we bred. Ole has all his testing. Both Shelby and Ole have Conrad in their pedigree. We are anxious to see this litter.
Ole is loved by his owner Jeff and little sister Lena.
5/29/20: We have decided to have a repeat breeding of Shelby and Ole. Jeff, Mark, and I agree this was an outstanding litter. Shelby and Ole are expecting a yellow and black litter on December 3. I have put Ole’s information on “Our Guys” page.
